Love Your City Campaign #LoveSOT

As part of SOT City Councils Love Your City campaign, we hosted 8 community clean ups over a 2 week period around Middleport, Longport & Dalehall. This campaign aimed to help improve local greenspace & tidy up the surrounding streets and show some love for our local area.

Middleport Matters staff, volunteers and partners were joined by 36 new people who volunteered their time to collect 54 bags of litter, equaling 119kg, which left the area looking much tidier and looked after.

Thank you to the local residents & Middleport Matters volunteers who joined us at the clean ups to help show that it doesn’t take much to make a difference. We would also like to thank our partners; Canal & River Trust, Appetite Stoke, Stoke City Community Trust, Port Vale Foundation Trust & Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
