Crafty Catch-up

Day: Mondays (excluding Bank Holidays)

Time: 10:30am – 12.30pm

Come along to meet other local people and enjoy a relaxed craft catch-up! Whether you knit, crochet, or sketch, this group is a welcoming space for anyone aged 18 and over to chat, create, and share ideas.

Bring your current project, swap tips, try occasional community learning, or just enjoy a chat and a brew where we put the world to rights. All skill levels from total beginners to experts are welcome!

£1 donation for refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits).

Burslem Youth Connect (10 - 16yrs)

The Block, Middleport Park, Navigation Street, ST6 3PT

Day: Monday

Time: 5.30pm - 7.00pm

Run in partnership with Barnardo’s, our Youth Connect programme is a weekly group open to all young people aged 10 to 16. It is a fantastic opportunity to get involved and community learning, all while building confidence and picking up new skills.

Whether you want to learn something new, get creative, or just need a relaxed space to chill out with friends, our team is here for you. Alongside the group activities, experienced Barnardo’s youth workers are always on hand to offer a listening ear and guidance. Everyone is welcome!

Community Gardening (ages 18+)

Root 'N' Fruit Community Allotment, Trubshaw Cross Allotments, Mott Place, Middleport, ST6 3RH

Day: Tuesdays

Time: 9.30am - 1:00pm (drop-in between these times)

Community Gardening is a space where everyone is welcome to come to learn about growing, harvesting and maintaining an allotment.

There are jobs for all to take part in and we encourage everyone to have a go and get stuck in.

We would advise sensible footwear to be worn on site, and that you dress appropriately for the weather as the session is mainly outdoors.

Elevate

Elevate is a transformative 12-session program designed to help you build confidence, learn practical life skills, and prepare for a fresh start. In a supportive environment, you’ll learn everyday essentials like budgeting and cooking on a budget, while gaining vital tools for mental wellbeing, including stress management and mindfulness. Through discovering your unique strengths, coping with change, and fostering healthy relationships, Elevate empowers you with the mindset and skills needed to take control of your future.

Men's Group

Time: 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Come along to meet other local men and enjoy a relaxed catch-up over a cuppa. This group is a welcoming, informal space for anyone aged 18 and over to take a break, meet new people, and share a laugh.

No agenda and no pressure just a friendly chat and a brew where we put the world to rights. Whether you want to talk about sports, hobbies, or just have a casual bit of banter, everyone is welcome.

Little Roots & Friends (Walkers up to school age)

Root 'n' Fruit Community Allotment, Trubshaw Cross Allotments, Mott Place, Middleport, ST6 3RH

Day: Wednesday (term time only)

Time: 10:00am - 11.30am

During the session attendees can learn how things grow through planting, caring for and harvesting fruit, veg and flowers. They can also experience sensory play through touch, smell, sound and taste, and learn key social skills through play.

We ask for £1 donation per child and 50p per adult towards refreshment costs.

Parking is limited, so we do ask that those who live local walk to the allotment if possible.

New Mum's Together (Birth to pre-walkers)

Navigating the beautiful, chaotic, and exhausting world of early motherhood? You don’t have to do it alone! Whether you’re running on two hours of sleep, looking to swap stories, or just want a reason to get out of the house, this group is for you.

We are a relaxed, judgment-free space for mums with babies (from newborns up to one year) to connect, share advice, and support one another.

Time: 9:30am - 11:30am

Come along and join us for a warm, relaxed morning dedicated to supporting our local community. This group is a welcoming space for anyone aged 18 and over to come together, connect, and enjoy some good company.

Alongside toast, a fresh brew, and a friendly chat to put the world to rights, we also offer a drop-in support service. If you need a bit of guidance, professional advice will be available in a casual, confidential space.

Whether you are looking to meet new neighbours, catch up with friends, or access some extra support, everyone is welcome.
