Womens Social Group

Middleport Matters, St Paul's Community Rooms, Church Square, Dalehall, ST6 4BY

Day: Mondays (excluding Bank Holidays)

Time: 11am – 12.30pm

Come along to meet other local women and take part in a variety of activities as a group. This group is aimed at those aged 18 and over.

Group activities could include - arts & crafts, games, walks, exercise taster sessions, cook & eat sessions, community learning, or just a chat and a brew where we put the world to rights.

50p donation for refreshments (tea/coffee/biscuits).

Community Gardening (ages 18+)

Root 'N' Fruit Community Allotment, Trubshaw Cross Allotments, Mott Place, Middleport, ST6 3RH

Day: Tuesdays

Time: 9.30am - 2.30pm (drop-in between these times)

Community Gardening is a space where everyone is welcome to come to learn about growing, harvesting and maintaining an allotment.

There are jobs for all to take part in and we encourage everyone to have a go and get stuck in.

We would advise sensible footwear to be worn on site, and that you dress appropriately for the weather as the session is mainly outdoors.

There is no donation required for this session.

Teas & Toddles @ Root 'n' Fruit (April - end of October)

Root 'n' Fruit Community Allotment, Trubshaw Cross Allotments, Mott Place, Middleport, ST6 3RH

Day: Wednesday (term time only, April - end of October)

Time: 9.30am - 11.30am

Teas & Toddles is an outdoor toddler group for children (aged 0-5) and their adults.

During the session attendees can learn how things grow through planting, caring for and harvesting fruit, veg and flowers. They can also experience sensory play through touch, smell, sound and taste, and learn key social skills through play.

We ask for £1 donation per child and 50p per adult towards refreshment costs.

Parking is limited, so we do ask that those who live local walk to the allotment if possible.

Extra Time

Middleport Matters, 93-97 Harper Street, Middleport, ST6 3QY

Day: Thursday (term time only)

Time: 9.30am - 11.30am

Social & gentle activity - Extra time is a space to socialize and enjoy some gentle activity such as curling, chair based soccorcise and other gentle activity.

If you don't want to have a go at the activities, feel free to come and have a brew and meet other local people.

Stitched Up Wool Craft

Day: Thursdays

Time: 1pm - 3pm

Stitched Up Knitting and Wool Craft group.

Come along and enjoy a friendly environment with other avid stitchers, whether you're a beginner or an expert.

50p donation for refreshments.

Suitable for all abilities. All materials provided or feel free to bring your own projects.

Games Night (18+ years)

Day: Thursdays

Time: 5.15pm - 6.30pm

Come along for a fun filled evening of games and meet other people in the local community. This session is aimed at those aged over 18.

We play all kinds of games such as board games like monopoly, quizes, bingo and pictionary, and we are always open to new ideas.

50p donation for refreshments.

Tea & Toast

Day: Fridays

Time: 9am-12pm

Tea & Toast is a warm, welcoming space to come along and ejoy a brew with other local residents from the community.

There will be tea, coffee, biscuits and toast available.

There will also be a member of staff available who can provide support needed. If we can't help, then we will do our best to signpost to someone who can.

£1 donation for refreshment costs.
