Teas & Toddles 2023

Teas & Toddles is an outdoor toddler group which runs at our community allotment Root “N” Fruit. The session runs on Wednesday mornings from 9.30am until 11.30am and includes a variety of led gardening activities and free play. This allows that the parents to have a chat and a coffee whilst their toddlers play and explore a safe natural environment. This group has been running for the past 5 years and has always been a success with residents as well as attendees from out of the area.

This year we’ve engaged with 95 individuals and had 388 unique attendances over 15 sessions. This is a massive increase to last year where we had 45 individuals and 154 attendances over 12 sessions. We also raised a fantastic £260 in donations to put back into the group for next year.

We’ve had such good fun this year getting messy, planting, harvesting, exploring and playing – we even had a special spiky guest. Next spring we will be back for more fun together at the allotment so keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page for the first session of the year.
