Eco House Ready to Rent

With funding from Middleport Environment Charity, we now have a house to let in Middleport. The lovely two-bedroom house has been given some TLC and is ready for tenants to move in.

We plan to work with the tenants to understand and reduce their environmental impact. As part of the Eco Lifestyle Project, they will meet Jen regularly to discuss different aspects of their life and find ways to live a more eco-friendly life. As well as being better for the planet, making positive lifestyle changes can lead to better wellbeing and improved overall happiness.

Jen has already helped a small group of residents find annual savings of around 500kg of greenhouse gas emissions, 150 plastic bottles, and over £1,000. Working more closely with the tenants, Jen hopes to find even greater benefits.
