We are celebrating after receiving £406,709 from the National Lottery Community Fund!
Article Written:We are celebrating after a successful application to The National Lottery Community Fund, being awarded £406,709 to continue delivery of our much-needed activity and support in the local area for a further four years (2022 to 2026).
The organisation will use this funding to deliver a variety of activity within our community spaces (Newcastle Street and Harper Street) as well as out and about in the community. Activity will continue to be community led, and will include: social groups, creative activities, environmental projects in the community, and many more.
As well as group activities to support wellbeing and bring people together, the Middleport Matters team provides much needed practical and emotional support to local residents across Middleport, Longport, Dalehall, and wider Burslem. Feedback from families and individuals includes,
